These are some of the photos I took at duxford imperial war mueseum. It was fascinating to see everything they used to use in the wars and all the record breaking planes!

I'm Back!

I can't believe it's been a year since I last blogged but I have been busy moving school and making new friends and doing lots of stuff. I have been learning how to use my mums illustrator software and this is a drawing I scanned in and coloured on the computer.

spring up to spring!

Throuout the spring season i will be using bright and vibrant colours for my pictures and base most of them on this years spring time. Also i will be having lots of things to tell you this infact 2008 is going to be the most packed year ever!

a new season

as you might have noticed leaves have fallen off trees and blustered around by small wirlwinds and there is chestnuts everywhere but i only have one problem... THE WEATHER ,might as well be summer! there's sun every where! its just ridiculus! its so anoying! but autum is a busy season and a pretty one so i hope you enjoy this autum picture.

yesterday i went to the fitzwilliam museum.

we went to see the medieval armour first, some of the helmets were very spooky!

then we went to the pottery section.most of the pottery was ancient nearly 2000 years old! the pictures that you have seen so far are some that i drew.here are some more.

we went to lots of places in the museum but my favourite place was the egyptian section.here is a drawing of an egyptian pot.

there was also a exibition of howard hodgkin in the mueseum which i diddn't get a picture of but i will be doing my own howard hodgkin painting.

A NEW MONTH

This month I have some wicked plans for you to see, such as the biggest zoo trip I ever had! so keep in contact with turtle and dont miss anything!

This week I have been making some games on a program called scratch, such as pacman and pong! have fun programming!

I got the idea for the box van because I use boxes to make models at school and I decided to try a digital box model.

I'm Back!

I spent most of my Christmas holidays rehearsing for Zeussical the Musical so have been really busy. I had a day off for my birthday and three days off for Christmas and still haven't tried out all my presents yet! Zuessical finished the week before last and now I am back at school and doing lots of things. I have started guitar lesson which is lots of fun and I have also started learning how to do proper animations at home. My uncle gave me an animation book and lots of stikfas figures to make movies with. It is taking a long time but I will post it here when I have finished! I have written a small story board to work from and am building a set. In the meantime I will show you the other drawings and things I have made. Happy New Year!

I wanted to do something different so I decided to make a mosaic. It took me a long time. I called it the magic chamber because of the bright colours and the circles made it look like some sort of passageway.

Mum was making a picture with her photos on the computer the other day and I asked her to show me how she did it. This is mine called burning.

Present from Toby

I got this in the post today from Toby who makes his own jewellery. He made these beads himself from the same type of clay i make my models from. I love the way he has added glitter to some of the beads. He said I should have a go too! His website is Natural Atrill. Thanks Toby!

New Desk

Look! Grandma and Grandad bought me a new big desk just like mum's! Mum and Dad worked hard yesterday to build it and move my furniture to fit it in. This is the first painting from my desk. It is a thank you present for Grandma and Grandad.

Gingerbread Men

We had fun this evening decorating gingerbread men. These are Mum and Jenny's.

Even Anya had a go but she couldn't squeeze the tubes so Dad help her and she painted them with her fingers. She nibbled a foot off one but didn't like it so ate all the sugar flowers instead which tasted like almonds.

Poem

This is a poem that i wrote with my Grandad. We did 2 lines each. It was Grandma and Grandad's anniversary so I thought i would draw pictures to go with it and mum printed it out and sent it to them for a surprise present!

Where we live there are a lot of flint walls like this one. I asked my grandad where flint came from and he said it was made millions of years ago from sea sponges!

More 3-D drawings

British Motor Show

Last Friday we went to the Motor show in London. There were lots of great cars and I took hundreds of photos. Mum was bored!

3-D Drawings

I am learning how to draw in 3-D. It was difficult to understand at first but I think I am getting better. The first car I did looked like a banana because I had drawn the front and the back at the same time!
I really did see a car these colours. It was a Polo.

Children's Art Day

Mum did a children's art day at the gallery and I went with her. This is some of the things I did. Collage



Printmaking using polystyrene which is soft and easy to draw on.
Masks for the fulbourn festival. They collected hundreds of decorated masks and tied them to the church wall. It looked great!

Cartoon Characters

Grandma bought me a book on how to draw cartoon characters. I didn't copy the book exactly but drew my own versions. Mum said they are a lot funnier!

Day Out

Mum and I went out for the day taking photos. Mum showed me how to look at everyday things differently and find patterns with the camera. These are some of the pictures i took.

Colchester Zoo

This is when we went to colchester zoo. It was raining but we had fun and even fed the elephants!

These are rubbings I did of a leopard and butterfly when we waited for the rain to stop.

Today I did some animations on photo plus .9. I have animated a ball, car and a person waving.

Dad

Mum was trying to teach me how to draw with my eyes and not my brain so here is a portrait of my dad. It was difficult because he wouldn't keep still!

The other day I made some models out of baking clay. The one at the back is a duck I know it's yellow but still a duck.

I normally use paper and pen but ever since I found the computer program paint it has been screen and mouse (for two months). I am now paper, sketchbook and pen .Lately I have been taking pictures of bits of the colleges in the cambridge city center looking carefully at the paterns in the walls and gates.Im going to have a lot of fun!
